Clovis Hall Of Fame 

HALL OF FAME INDUCTION
Presented to an individual, family or organization who has contributed significantly to the cultural, social and economic growth, development and/or promotion of Clovis and whose dedication and devotion to the Clovis community have been consistent and noteworthy over a sustained period of time.  Nominees’ contributions may represent a wide spectrum of activity to include business, agriculture, services, industry, education, public sector, arts and culture and/or community and volunteer service.  In addition, candidates may be recognized for his/her national accomplishments or celebrity status, provided that his/her status enhances, supports and/or promotes directly the image of the Clovis community.

Founders Category is also included for longstanding individuals of families including extended family groups, who have contributed significantly toward the early cultural social and economic development and growth of the Clovis community, generally to include the time period at least 50 years prior to the current year (added 09/2015).  All Hall of Fame inductees should possess distinguished attributes and qualities that inspire others in the community to follow suit.  In essence, inductees should meet high and proven standards as role models for the community.


COMMUNITY AWARDS
FRIEND OF YOUTH AWARD
Presented to an individual, group or organization who has exhibited exceptional dedication and devotion to Clovis and its residents through significant community and /or volunteer service to the youth of Clovis.

SERVICE TO VETERANS AWARD
Presented to an individual, group or organization who has exhibited exceptional dedication and devotion to our United States Veterans through significant community and/or volunteer service.  The honoree may be active or former military.

CITIZEN OF THE YEAR AWARD
Presented to an individual or, in exceptional circumstances, to an entity who has accomplished a distinguished deed or deeds of service or leadership during a recent period, generally within the past twenty-four months.  While a specific, highly visible contribution alone may merit recognition; typically, a “Citizen of the Year” will possess many of the attributes of a “Hall of Fame” inductee, including sustained and active involvement in the Clovis community.
 
SPIRIT OF CLOVIS AWARD
Presented to an individuals or individuals, group or organization who has exhibited exceptional dedication and devotion to Clovis and its residents through significant community leadership and or volunteer service.  A true representative of the “Clovis way of Life,” unless his/her service and contributions to the Clovis community greatly exceed his/her expected job duties and requirements.
